“Harold’s Time Academy” - series of events marking the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking of 2025
In support of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking proclaimed by the United Nations, which falls on 26th June, and in celebration of 25th year of inception of the Healthy Life Education Programme in 2025, the Social Welfare Bureau has partnered with the Social Services Coordination Office of Sheng Kung Hui Macau to host the “Harold’s Time Academy” at the Macao Science Center from June to August. It was a theme-specific experiential event which has concluded successfully on 31st August.
The event featured a theme-specific experiential classroom, featuring important teaching aids, such as display panels, a food pyramid and “TAM” (a human body model), to share the journey and achievements of the Healthy Life Education Programme over the past 25 years with the public, attracting over 8,400 visitors. Furthermore, the Social Welfare Bureau worked jointly with various government departments and NGOs to host 22 workshops themed around “Healthy Life”, with an attendance of over 340 individuals from 135 families. The “Harold’s Time Academy” has effectively raised public awareness of healthy lifestyle and drug prevention.
