Life Education Programme originated in Australia. The first Life Education Centre was founded by pastor, Ted Noffs, in 1979 at King' s Cross, Syndey of Australia. The concept receives extensive support and recognition and spreads all over the world. Thus far Life Education Programme is all over the countries and regions such as Australia, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia, Barbados, South Africa, Hungary, Finland, Cyprus, Hong Kong and Macao, etc.
Macao's Healthy Life Education Programme started from September, 2000. To meet the needs of the programme development, Healthy Life Education Center was set up in 2003. Our Centre has been relocated in 2016. There are three classrooms that not only provide teaching equipment from New Zealand, but also provide multi-media equipment to meet the needs of the local programme development. There are four educators teaching Chinese Programme, English Programme and Special Needs Programme. Every year, the Centre cooperates with the Abuse Prevention Division to hold promotional activities for the community, and advocates the children and adolescents to choose to lead a healthy life.
