Iong Kong Io, President of the Social Welfare Bureau and Vice-President Vong Yim Mui visited the Healthy Life Education Center and took photo with the award-winning staffs.


The Prize Presentation Ceremony of “The Government Service Quality Award” and “The Civic Servants Creative Plan and Book Review Contest” was held in the auditorium of the Macao Polytechnic Institute on October 30, 2012. The Healthy Life Education Center of the Social Welfare Bureau was awarded with the “Excellent Service Award”. The Chief Executive and the Secretary for Administration and Justice of Macao SAR presented the awards.


Last year, the Healthy Life Education Center participated in “The Government Service Quality Award” implemented by the SAR Government, over 20 projects in 7 government sectors competed in the event, among which 9 projects were awarded. The criteria of the “Government Service Quality Award" is based on the “Service Commitment Accreditation System”, focusing on improving the quality of government services.After a serious and rigorous assessment together with an on-site observation of the Drug Prevention Program, the Healthy Life Education Center won the "Excellent Service Award”.


The award shown the SAR Government’s affirmation on the effectiveness of the Healthy Life Education Center. Given the highest honor and encouragement to the work achievements, Healthy Life Education Center becomes a model for other government sectors. The Social Welfare Bureau will carry forward the spirit of "Excellent Services", continue to improve administrative efficiency and service quality to enhance personal qualities, vocational skills of public servants and provide excellent service to the public.
