Class Observation for parents

The Healthy Life Education Programme organized class observations for parents in November 2017. More than 100 parents participated in different class observations and increased parents' understanding of Healthy Life Education Programme. Through the class observations, the parents could also gain better understanding of the facilities in the Healthy Life Education Centre and the drug abuse prevention. Parents were interested in the facilities and activities of the Centre.

Special Seminar for Parents

Thirty parents who attended the class observations also took part in a special seminar for them. An anti-drug micro film “Choices of Life” was presented to discuss the importance of family to prevent drug abuse with the parents and the current status of drug abuse among young people in Macao. The seminar also shared communication skills with parents to help them to establish a good parent-child relationship and thus prevent their children from drug abuse. Parents were also encouraged to use the illustrated Harold books to set up parent-child interaction and help their children to establish healthy life styles.
