Demonstration Class at Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin

        On 18th July 2023, the SWB and the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin signed an agreement on a healthy life education cooperation project. Instructors of the SWB were invited to Hengqin Ziqi Experimental Middle School to conduct a demonstration class for first and second-grade students.

        By presenting courses of Macao, children and teachers in the In-Depth Cooperation Zone were able to gain an understanding of healthy lifestyles, as well as the effects of drugs on the body. The demonstration class included a video featuring a local curriculum character, "Tam Mei", to introduce the respiratory system and conveyed anti-smoking messages. Additionally, the importance of healthy eating habits was emphasised to help students develop a healthy lifestyle. To conclude the session, the course mascot “Harold" danced with the students, creating a cheerful atmosphere.
