Parent-child board game event successfully held

Recently, the first parent-child summer board game activity was organised by Social Welfare Bureau (SWB) and Macao Science Centre to promote the concept of "Anti-drug commitment starts from home". A total of 44 parents and children participated in the event.


“Harold’s Jungle Rescue Team”, the healthy life parent-child board game class was held 23rd and 30th July 2021 at Macao Science Centre. The event used board game to send messages of healthy life and drug abuse prevention to children aged 6 to 9. The event included an introduction to Healthy Life Education Programme, games, a “Harold” board game experience and a science experiment to learn about human nervous system with conductive ink, etc. The programme helps to increase parent-child interaction, helping parents to educate children through entertainment, enabling children to be aware of the harmful effects of bad habits on the body, thus understanding the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.
