Life Education Activity Programme (LEAP) of Hong Kong visits the Healthy Life Education Centre
On 17th July, a group of 24 from the Life Education Activity Programme (LEAP) of Hong King came to Macao to pay a visit to the Healthy Life Education Centre. They joined the instructors from the Prevention Education Unit for the annual team-building activity held at the Centre where they exchanged views and shared experiences. It was aimed to improve the professional knowledge of instructors from both regions, foster collaboration between them, and provide opportunities for reflection, and exchange of ideas on the future development. The day’s agenda included a work-sharing session, briefing on classroom equipment, adventure team building activity, and a visit to the “Noah Youth Growth and Development Centre”, which is a social service facility subsidised by the Social Welfare Bureau. It allowed the representatives from LEAP to learn about the diverse support services provided by Macao to those in need, such as integrated supported employment, individual counseling and family counseling, among others.
