The “Open Day of Healthy Life Education Centre”, held together by Social Welfare Bureau (SWB) and YMCA Macao was held successfully on 11th July. The event attracted 800 participants and it was lively and well-received.

On the day of event, various areas with the theme of healthy life were set up in the Healthy Life Education Centre, including “Reunion with Harold”, an experience of a parent-child board game “Harold’s Jungle Rescue Team”, a multi-media game on medication, activity booths, sand painting and demonstrations of the “Healthy Life Education Programme” and so on. Some parents brought their children along to experience the board games and try out the multimedia game platform with drug information to enhance children’s understanding of healthy life and the dangers of drug abuse. In addition, children's favourite "Harold", the mascot of “Healthy Life Education Programme”, was ready for photos with children. Harold played quiz game with them and led them to sing the new song of Healthy Life “Friendship and Courage”, bringing lots of fun to the event. A large background panel with the theme was set up for participants to take photos to promote the anti-drug slogan "Anti-drug commitment starts from home”.
